Indian Navy Notified Recruitment for SSC Officer as Pilot/Observer 2014

Indian Navy invited applications from unmarried Indian citizens for recruitment to the post of Short Service Commission as Pilot/Observer in Executive Branch of the Indian Navy for the course commencing June 2014 at the Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Kerala. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through online on or before 18 October 2013. The Indian Navy is the naval branch of the armed forces of India. The President of India serves as the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy. The primary objective of the navy is to secure national maritime borders.

Note:

Candidates who have failed in PABT (Pilot Aptitude Battery Test) earlier are not eligible to    apply for Pilot Entry, but can apply for the Observer Entry scheme. Pilot post is reserved for male candidates only.

Age Limit

General Candidates:

Candidate age must be between 19 years to 24 years.

CPL Holders:

Candidate age must be between 19 years to 25 years.

Educational Qualification
General Candidates:

Candidate must possess Graduate Degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks and should have qualified 12th class with Mathematics & Physics.

CPL Holders:

Candidate must possess Graduate Degree in any discipline with minimum 60% marks and should have qualified 12th class with Mathematics & Physics. The candidate must be holding valid and current CPL issued by DGCA (India).

Selection Procedure

Higher educational qualification is considered as cut off for Indian Navy SSC Officer Pilot/ Observer vacancies.

Those who are shortlisted will be called for SSB interview which is scheduled from December 2013 to June 2014 at Bangalore.

The interview is of two stages. Stage I consists of Intelligence Tests, Picture Perception and Group Discussions. Stage II consists of Psychological tests, Group task tests and interview.

Candidates who are successful in these two stages have to undergo PABT followed by Aviation Medical Examination for Pilot post and Aviation Medical examination for Observer post.

How to Apply

Interested & eligible candidates can apply online through www.nausena-bharti.nic.in Between 27 September 2013 to 18 October 2013.

On successful submission of online application, an Application Number will be generated by the system. This Application Number will automatically appear on the printout of the form. Candidates are required to take two printouts of the online Application Form having the system generated Application Number. They should send one copy, after pasting their photograph and signing it on the space provided for the purpose, along with attested copies of 10th & 12th class certificates, mark sheets, other educational certificates and mark sheets of all semesters/years, to Post Box No. 02, Sarojini Nagar, New Delhi – 110023 before 27 October 2013.
Candidates should super-scribe the words “Online Application No. _______Application for SSC Pilot/Observer – June 2014 Course Qualification ______Percentage ___%” on the envelope containing the application form.
Candidate should keep the other copy of the printout for reference.
